Physiotherapy

We offer you targeted relief and movement promotion through different therapy concepts

Individual physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a treatment used for a wide variety of illnesses. The aim of therapy should be to improve mobility, endurance, strength, coordination and stability.

The improvement of circulatory functions and pain relief are also the goal of physiotherapy. In physiotherapy an individual assessment of the patient's condition is first carried out and then a therapy plan is created to restore, improve or maintain the ability to move and function.

These physiotherapeutic measures are often supported by other therapies, such as fango, hot roll or ice treatment.

Equipment-based physiotherapy

In equipment-based physiotherapy, the exercises take place on medical training equipment, based on training theory. The aim of equipment-based physiotherapy is rehabilitation training for weak or disproportionate muscles.

This applies, among other things, to imbalances such as poor posture, slipped discs, misalignment of the spine or muscle atrophy as a result of operations or after prolonged immobilisation.

Manual Therapy

Manual therapy specifically treats pain and problems in the joint, muscle and nervous systems. The therapy is used to treat functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system.

It aims to restore and maintain the functions of the healthy joint and all tissues functionally connected to it.

PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation)

PNF is a treatment method based on the interaction between nerves and muscles. Pressure, stretching, relaxation or stretching stimulate the pressure and stretch receptors in the muscle (proprioceptors) as well as tendons, joint capsules and connective tissue.

These procedures are carried out in specific defined sequences. The application possibilities are very versatile, so that the form of therapy can be used for orthopaedic and neurological diseases, but also after surgical interventions and injuries.

Scoliosis therapy

Physiotherapy according to Schroth is a scoliosis-specific treatment and aims at conscious posture training in order to avoid one-sided stress postures.

The aim of the exercises in scoliosis therapy is to straighten the spine with additional stabilisation.

Respiratory gymnastics

Respiratory gymnastics is another component of physiotherapy.

The aim is to optimally promote the respiratory system (lungs, diaphragm, respiratory muscles) in order to prevent severe respiratory damage later on.

But also patients with underlying diseases can achieve benefits and improved quality of life.

Craniosacral therapy

Craniosacral therapy is an alternative form of treatment that was developed from osteopathy.

The techniques are mainly applied to the skull and sacrum.

The skull, spine, sacrum and central nervous system form the craniosacral system, in which cerebrospinal fluid moves rhythmically.

TMJ therapy (CMD)

The TMJ therapy is a manual treatment of both painful and non-painful conditions that can be traced back to a structural, functional mental dysregulation of the mandibular joint.

Sling table

The sling table is used as a therapeutic aid. Regions of the body (hips, legs, arms or chest) that lie in the slings can be moved easily and feel almost weightless.

The physiotherapist can treat painful and difficult-to-move joints in a targeted and gentle way.

The sling table is also an ideal aid for many spinal conditions, helping the patient to achieve relief and relaxation.

Extension treatment

During the extension treatment, the muscles in the shoulder and neck area are loosened and stretched with a gentle pull. This promotes blood circulation in the head and cervical spine area and light blockages can be released.
