Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg - spa and health resort

The long-established spa resort Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg lies directly adjacent to Salinental valley, and is surrounded by a wildly romantic rocky landscape. The ruins of Schloß Rheingrafenstein, which can be reached by ferry, look out over the historical spa assembly rooms (Kurmittelhaus) set in the Kurpark gardens. The Rotenfels (red rock), a huge volcanic massif, lies directly opposite the castle village of Ebernburg. It is an absolute paradise for hikers and ramblers! Narrow alleys are a distinctive feature of Ebernburg village and are home to numerous quaint wine bars - one more inviting than the next. Ebernburg castle, which played a major role in the early history of the Reformation, towers over the village. What else does Bad Münster have to offer? There is an outdoor swimming pool with a saltwater pool, the Fondation Kubach-Wilmsen trust’s Steinskulpturenpark (Stone Sculpture Park) - which is well worth a visit, and the Nahetal golf course, one of Germany’s finest.
