By train

Regional express trains (line RE 3) from Frankfurt main station – Frankfurt International Airport – Mainz – Idar-Oberstein – Saarbrücken depart for Bad Kreuznach daily every hour from Mainz or every 2 hours directly from Frankfurt (journey from Mainz to Bad Kreuznach takes 26–29 minutes). Regional trains (line RB 33) running every hour from Mainz – Bad Kreuznach – Idar-Oberstein – Türkismühle ensure there is a connection to Bad Kreuznach every 30 minutes or so. In Frankfurt und Mainz, there are good connections to long-distance transport services. The regional train (line RB 65) from Kaiserslautern – Bad Kreuznach – Bingen offers good connections to long-distance services every hour seven days a week in Bingen (IC Cologne) and in Kaiserslautern (ICE F-Paris). All platforms are completely barrier-free and have lifts. The trains also feature level boarding.

By car

From the north and east (Mainz, Koblenz): A 61, motorway junction Nahetal, A 60, exit at Bad Kreuznach From the south (from Alzey): A60, exit at Bad Kreuznach From the west (from Idar-Oberstein): B 41 Whichever direction you come from, it is best to take the B 41, exit at Winzenheim and drive into Bad Kreuznach town centre.

Parking in Bad Kreuznach

Rund um die Innenstadt und das Kurgebiet verfügt die Stadt über eine Vielzahl von bewirtschafteten Parkhäusern und Parkplätzen. Parkhaus Kurviertel,  City Parkhaus Mühlenstraße und  City Parkhaus Mannheimer Straße bieten günstige Langzeittarife: pro Woche 28,-- €, ermäßigt mit Gästekarte 25,- €. Die Wochentickets können nach wie vor in unserer Parken-Leitstelle, Mühlenstr. 38, 55543 Bad Kreuznach, gekauft werden (in bar oder digital per girocard). Die Leitstelle hat von Montag bis Samstag, von 08:00 bis 20:00 Uhr, geöffnet (außer an Sonn- und Feiertagen).

By plane

From Frankfurt International Airport there is a direct connection by regional express train (line RE 3) every two hours (47-minute journey) or every hour when changing trains in Mainz or Ingelheim (60-minute journey). From Frankfurt-Hahn Airport in the Hunsrück, an airport shuttle departs 11–13 times a day for Mainz main station, where regional express and regional trains depart for Bad Kreuznach. There are also bus connections with changes in Idar-Oberstein, Kirn or Stromberg.
