Visitors Centre - Old Freemasonry Lodge

The Haus des Gastes was built in 1925 by members of the “Vereinigte Freunde von der Nahe” Masonic lodge, founded in 1858, and has been used since 2002 by the theater company “Die Loge” as a stage for cabaret, theater, and music. The Kleinkunstbühne Foundation and the Barbara and Rudi Müller Foundation, which also financed the conversion into a theater hall, make a significant contribution to the program. The historic building was extended with a modern annex, which houses service facilities for spa guests (tourist information, reading room, lecture rooms). Next to the Haus des Gastes, the Crucenia Health Center for outpatient spa treatments was newly built. The landmark of the Haus des Gastes is its façade with its high windows, reminiscent of Baroque castle buildings.
