Sculpture "Thirst" on the Island of Roses
Sculptures by the Cauer family of sculptors can be found throughout the city. From the first half of the 19th century to the 1970s, artists from the family created internationally acclaimed works of sculpture. These can be found in parks and museums throughout the city. An outstanding example is the group of figures entitled “Durst” (Thirst), created by Ludwig Cauer in 1892.
