Panoramaweg path - scenic views of Bad Kreuznach

For visitors wanting to explore the beauty of the town in a thousand steps, Panoramaweg path (easily accessed from the pedestrian zone) is the ideal way to do so. The hustle and bustle of narrow alleys is quickly left behind to be replaced by the sudden tranquillity and expanse of nature.

The Panoramaweg path extends along the side of Kauzenberg hill just below the castle and takes you from the historical quarter high up above the rooftops of the spa quarter and along the Nahe river. The hill, town and river are very close to one another here. The route starts in Klappergasse alley by the Alte Nahebrücke bridge on the historical side of town and runs below the Teetempel (tea temple). It is well worth climbing up to the temple for a panoramic view of the area. Steps lead down to the banks of the Nahe and you can see the Kurpark gardens on the opposite side of the river.
