Festivals and Culture
Bad Kreuznach is never boring. The townspeople cherish their celebratory culture and traditions. Conviviality, good atmosphere, lots of fun and most definitely one or two glasses of Nahe wine to relax and socialise for a few hours. Bad Kreuznach’s annual Jahrmarkt fair is the region’s biggest folk festival. Throughout the year there are a number of festivities like the Fischerstechen water jousting spectacle, the children’s festival on “museum day”, the Wein(t)festival wine tasting festival by the Mühlenteich millpond, Hoffeste - open-air festivals held by wine-growing estates, Straßenfastnacht street carnival and a whole lot more.
